Wave has partnered with The Wave Project!
We're delighted to announce our partnership with The Wave Project, a charity which helps improve young people’s mental wellbeing through surfing.
The collaboration will see 10% of the revenue generated from our turtle phone case being donated to the charity.
Founded in 2010, The Wave Project has since helped over 2,000 young people who have been diagnosed with mental health disorders. With locations across the UK, including the North East, the project aims to improve the wellbeing of children and young adults through the power of surfing.
Ross Longhorn, Founder of Wave, explains:
“The work The Wave Project does is admirable, and as a North East based company, we want to give back to those who have helped children within our local community. That’s why we’re donating 10% of proceeds generated from the sales of our turtle phone case to help The Wave Project. With over 1,600 volunteers, this is our way to say thank you to each and every one of them and to contribute to the continued success of the amazing work The Wave Project does.”
Emma Cowley, Trusts & Corporate Fundraising Officer from The Wave Project comments:
“We’re stoked to have the support from Wave with their latest turtle phone case collaboration. The donation we’ll receive from this partnership will go towards our vital Surf Therapy courses, which is provided to over 2,000 children and young people each year, helping to improve their self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.” – Emma Cowley, Trusts & Corporate Fundraising Officer
